Beschreibung

As Head of Multichannel Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for the Distribution Network Design/ Development/ Optimization, the Fulfillment Performance and Cost Monitoring, and the Business Case Creation and Investment Proposal Preparation.

Aufgaben

  • Distribution Network Design/ Development/ Optimization
  • Fulfillment Performance and Cost Monitoring
  • Business Case Creation and Investment Proposal Preparation
  • Building on the six Metro Cash & Carry Design principles, act as clear subject matter expert for all Distribution Network Design related activities
  • Assist the countries in analyzing and defining their Multichannel requirements, in designing their optimal distribution network and in recommending the investment proposals going forward
  • Coordinate and manage country specific Distribution Network Redesign Projects by applying the proven methodology from other countries. Adapt the methodology where needed
  • Ensure alignment with the FSD (Food Service Delivery) requirements and federation
  • Create the planning database by requesting, validating and analyzing all relevant data
  • Determine the cost framework and elaborate the service requirements
  • Model the As-Is Distribution Network and calculate the baseline costs
  • Perform the To-Be Distribution Network Design
  • Create the Implementation Roadmap
  • Document, present, and get approach, milestones and recommendations approved by the countries’ boards, the Operating Partner(s) and other key stakeholders
  • Create Investment Proposals. Document, present and get it approved
  • Monitor and analyze performance on an ongoing base, and in the case of deviations, drive improvements
