Seit April 2010 werden die Kliniken Oberallgäu und das Klinikum Kempten unter der gemeinsamen Dachgesellschaft, dem Klinikverbund Kempten-Oberallgäu geführt. Träger dieser Gesellschaft sind die Stadt Kempten und der Landkreis Oberallgäu. Der Klinikverbund bietet wohnortnahe medizinische Versorgung von der Grund- und Regelversorgung bis zur Hochleistungsmedizin.
Der Verbund besteht aus den Kliniken in Oberstdorf, Sonthofen, Immenstadt und Kempten. Mit rund 2.500 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern ist der Klinikverbund einer der größten Arbeitgeber in der Region, bei dem jährlich insgesamt 152.000 Patienten behandelt werden. Engagierte und hochqualifizierte Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sichern somit die wohnortnahe medizinische Versorgung der Bevölkerung.
