Be responsible for managing the suppliers and contracts of the electrical equipment of 50Hertz’s grid. You will manage actively the client-supplier relationship. So on the one hand you work with Elia’s strategic electrical equipment suppliers. On the other hand you follow proactively your internal stakeholders within your category (mainly the project department): You represent Elia Group at the supplier and represent the supplier within Elia Group.

Aufgaben

To ensure the proper execution of the projects by the suppliers according to our contracts (in doing so, you show a high degree of responsibility)
To act as Key Account Manager of Elia Group for the suppliers in your own categories and for the internal stakeholders of Elia (Project Leaders, Experts, …)
To lead the negotiations and reach reasonable agreements in case of unforeseen situations or claims (in doing so, you use your solution-oriented problem-solving skills to create win-win situations)
To support the internal stakeholders as well as the suppliers, particularly during pilot projects

Über 50Hertz

50Hertz operates the electricity transmission system in the north and east of Germany, which it expands as needed for the energy transition. Our extra high voltage grid has an electrical circuit length of about 10,380 kilometres, or the distance between Berlin and Rio de Janeiro. The 50Hertz control area covers the german federal states of Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, as well as the city states of Berlin and Hamburg. Within these regions, 50Hertz and its 1,200 employees ensure that 18 million people are supplied with electricity around the clock. 50Hertz is a forerunner in the field of secure integration of renewable energy: in our grid area, more than 60 percent of the electricity consumed is already generated from renewable sources – until 2032 we want to integrate 100 percent securely. The shareholders of 50Hertz are the Belgian Elia Group (80 per cent) and the KfW bank group with 20 per cent. As a European transmission system operator, 50Hertz is a member of the European association ENTSO-E.
